 New
year's holiday is one of the most important
occasion for Japanese people. All the family and relatives
get together.
عطلة رأس السنة و احدة من أهم المناسبات للشعب الياباني
جميع الأقارب و العائلة تجتمع معاً في هذا اليوم

The
celebration begins on New Year's Eve. On the night of 31 December,
the family eats noodles, which represents long life, then
goes to a local shrine or temple to pray for good fortune
in the comming year.
الاحتفال يبدأ بمولد السنة الجديدة في ليلة الواحد
و الثلاثين من كانون الأول العائلة تجتمع لتأكل النودلز و هي
أكلة تشبه المعكرونةالتي يعتقد أنها تطيل العمر ثم يذهبون الى
المعبدللصلاة للحظ السعيد في السنة الجديدة

On
1 January a special food 'osechi'
is served. Everyone looks forward to receiving New Year's
greeting cards(*see...about page).
في اليوم الأول من السنة الجديدة يقدم طعام خاص
يدعى أوسيتشي الكل ينتظر ليقدم له بطاقة تهنئة بالعام الجديد

'kaki zome'
كاكي زومي
'kaki zome' ..new year's writing, means 'new year's sunrise'.
What does it imply? You may write down your new year's wish
in your own language.
تعني كاكي زومي شمس سنة جديدة تشرق و هي تعني سنة
جديدة باللغة العربية |

'kagmi Biraki'
كاغامي بيراكي
Open 'sake' barrel, share glass of 'sake' together. 'kagami',
means mirror, is supposed in which spirit lives in. The top
of 'sake' barrel. its circular shape looks like a mirror,
we name it 'kagami'.
نفتح برميل الساكي و مثل نخبك عند الانكليز وعلى
شرفك كاغامي تعني المرآة و يعتقد أن الروح تعيش فيهاو
'hiraki' means open. Opening mirror, we pray for the peace
and joy of the new year.
يقول عندها بيراكي و تعني افتح أي تفتح المآة عندها
نصلي من أجل السلام و الفرحة |
''kagami mochi'
كاغامي موتشي
'mochi' means this circular rice cake. You may find out these
kind of rice cake wherever you go in Japan, especially around
new year.
موتشي و تعني كعك مدور من الرزتستطيع أن تجده في
كل البيوت اليابانية و خاصة في أعياد رأس السنة
It will be devided and shared by all the family.
و يقطع على طريقة الكاتو و يوزع على كل العائلة |
